Half of Me continues Nora Bleze’s journey after Ancient Stones. Having left Philadelphia to discover her late father’s homeland, Nora has found an unexpected sense of belonging in Italy. What began as a short trip has become a life she is not ready to leave, while the man she loves is still waiting for her to return. Across a phone call, their shared plans meet a question neither of them knows how to answer: what happens when one person changes and the future they imagined together no longer feels certain?
Nora still misses him in the quiet moments of her day, when she eats alone or something happens that she wants to share with him. Yet every request to come home brings back her doubts. She wishes she could fall asleep beside him and wake up in the place where she finally feels at home. Half of Me gives both sides of that conflict a voice: her need to stay, his fear of being left waiting, and the difficulty of asking someone to understand a change she is still trying to understand herself.
A contemporary pop ballad built around piano, a warm arrangement and an expressive vocal, Half of Me explores love, distance and the uncertain space between shared promises and personal discovery. The second chapter of I’m Here offers no easy resolution. Its closing words in Italian — “Solo qualche giorno… qui…” — leave Nora with a small, intimate wish: to have him beside her, even briefly, before they decide what comes next.
